Graduates in the state of New York to get help repaying student loans

We’re all about helping people pay down their student loans and love to hear news like this. If you graduated from a school in the state of New York after 2014 and currently have an income under $50,000 a year, you might qualify for the “Get on Your Feet Loan Forgiveness Program”. This program will allow you to have the state cover your payments on your student loans for up to 24 months.

This looks like a great program for the state to be offering and for the qualified residents that may be struggling.  Not only will this have an impact on those with student loans, but it could also give some encouragement to the high school students who are still contemplating taking the next step to college. Overall this is a great accomplishment for the state and the entire country. If this program shows signs of success for both parties then it could only be a matter of time before we see additional states creating their own similar programs.

We highly encourage our BrowseU users from the state of New York to take a look at this program to see if they qualify. If you’re not from the state of New York think about sharing this on social media and potentially help out another person who might not be aware.

We’re so close to paying out our first user and look forward to making that a common occurrence as we continue to grow. I look forward to breaking more milestones and making BrowseU history with each and every one of you.

Become Familiar with the User Agreement and Guidelines

Hello BrowseUsers,

We’ve noticed a few instances of people not following our User Agreement and Guidelines and would like to take the time to show you where this can be found so you can become familiar with them. Not following these guidelines can and will result in removal from our queue.

We’ve seen a few members create multiple accounts under the same name. You’re only allowed to have one account. Creating multiple is against the rules. That is especially the case if you’re doing this to increase your referrals. The same goes for fake accounts. Creating users with fake information in order to increase your referrals will result in removing not only those accounts, but your real account from the queue. Even if you’re putting some extra effort into your fake names and email addresses, we can still tell… so please don’t try.

This brings me to another point. It’s very important you’re using real information for your account. If you provide us with a fake email then you’ve just prevented us from our only way of ever getting in contact with you. That might be a problem when we’re trying to give you money for your student loans. The same goes for your name. If the name on your account is incorrect then it might be a little difficult to accept the funds. Please make sure this information is correct.

There are a few other guidelines that our users must follow. They can be seen here. All we ask is that you use our platform how it was intended. Trying to cheat the system in anyway will not be tolerated.

If you took the time to read this and now realize you might have made a mistake then please email us at [email protected]. We’ll gladly let you slide by coming forward and allowing us to adjust the queue accordingly. Otherwise we’ll fix these ourselves during our regular queue audits and won’t be able to reverse these actions. For those of you who read this and are proud you don’t fall into this list, we’re proud too. The best part is you should notice your position in line jump a few spots as we clear out duplicate and fake accounts.

Thanks for your time,

BrowseU Reaches 500 Members!

Wondering if you missed our posts about 300 and 400 members? Don’t worry, you didn’t. We’ve just been unable to keep up with all of our signups these last couple days. We’ve seen a great response from the Reddit community and very grateful for their comments and participation in those posts. Welcome to BrowseU! We’ve also seen a great amount of you utilizing the Twitter achievement and driving in many new visitors. This effort has helped us grow to over 500 members in what seemed like just a blink of an eye. The increase in users has had a great impact on our traffic and search volume which is generating ad revenue at a faster rate. Let’s keep this effort going and continue to move the funding bar towards our current goal!

A Guide to Referring your Friends on BrowseU

Hopefully all of you are familiar with our achievement section by now. This section is comprised of various social media and referral achievements. Every time you complete one, you increase your maximum amount of funding you can receive from us. Completing all of the achievements will increase your account to $2000! A big part of this is referring your friends. Just those achievements alone make up for a $1200 increase. If you want to get to that $2000 mark you’ll have to be a little creative with your approach. Not only does referring your friends help us gain new users, but those new users will help everyone by generating advertising revenue for your student loans even faster!

You can find your Referral URL on your user page when you log in. This is located directly under the funding bar. It will look something like this:

Your Referral URL:

However, your link will have a different numerical value at the end that is associated with your account.

The easiest way to start getting referrals is by sharing this link with your friends and family. You can do so by email, social media messaging, or even a text. This should help get the ball rolling and get a few sign ups under your belt. Just referring your first friend will give you an increase of $50! Pretty easy right? This is a great way to start, but if you want to unlock the larger achievements you should think about trying some of these other options:

Social Media Posts – A fast way to share your link is by making a post on Facebook or tweeting on Twitter. Explain what it is you’re promoting and add your personal referral link to your post.

Forums – Try posting a link or a post on a forum. Finding the right section of Reddit or another popular forum and providing interesting content can help attract a wider audience than friends and family. Adding your link to a quality post here can easily rack up some quick referrals.

Write your own Blog – Do you have your own Blog? Or do you know a blog that you can post to? Write a little post about BrowseU and leave your referral link at the bottom for your readers to click on.

There are endless possibilities on how you can promote your link. Post it in a school group, print and pass out some flyers, comment on articles related to student loans, or maybe try just shouting it out of your bedroom window. Different approaches will work better for different people.

If you’ve found a great way to refer your friends that was not mentioned above feel free to share it by emailing us at [email protected]. We’d love to hear the different ways you come up with, and would love to share that with our other users who could use the help.
